I've had a Dell 9300 - 17" Widescreen, 256MB dedicated Geforce video, 2gb ram, wireless, etc. for over 3 years now and it has preformed flawlessly. I also use a newer Dell D830 at work and it has also been absolutely perfect. (although I prefer Windows XP Pro over Vista just on speed alone) The specs and the price on this one are pretty good though. Not trying to compare Dell/HP, just giving my opinion on the Dell experience.
