Get a brother AIO on sale. The ink can be had ridiculously cheap off of many sites.

Also, check Costco for genuine HP ink. They've got some great prices on, for instance, the 940XL cartridges for the OfficeJet Pro 8500, and other printers when I've compared prices in the past.
