I might if in the need for a nice little home-use box, give this some serious consideration to this. The price is right. Probably the best motivator it's still Win7, so for folk looking to dump an old XP machine to learning curve isn't all that much. Even to build something close would take more than $280, the hitch is a 90-day warranty a refurb like this.
The only part that causes any trepidation (for me) is if the mobo gave out. If it dies after the 3 month you'll need to source that particular OEM board (AAHD2-HY / Holly2) which I find for about $75. Now some folks would say grab an Aftermarket warranty from like SquareTrade, it can be worthwhile. For a $200-300 desktop like this they offer a 3-Year for $50. So there's the dilemma; If you're handy and can replace it yourself... you might spend $75 if you're that unlucky. Not someone who would do the work and really plan on a long term ownership ponying-up $330 for the computer and 3-Year is still a good deal.
