You will need another hard disk drive. 1TB is only just enough for the Winbloat swap file.

Hardware alone will cost more than $826, definitely a good buy, even for a refurbished. For individual consumers, the parts will cost: 920 $280, Mobo $160, HDD $80, Blueray $100, 9G DDR3 $150, GTS250 $120, Case+PS $100, Wifi $20. That's over one grand and the list goes on.

It's amazing how much cheaper corporation can buy their components in bulk.

Sure the sum of its part is okay, but only 90 day warranty and no Win7 upgrade... WHY! The GTS250 is a nice piece but without HD sound out of HDMI cable it's a really an odd paring. While that's a strange (reversed mobo) way to stuff that small box with a bunch of stuff and very limited air flow.

HP Direct is always a smarter way than these referb's. Configure the e9280t series with Components and its $1,140 free shipping… go with bing C/B and get $57 back. While you can add stuff like the 2159m 21.5-inch 16:9 Full HD Widescreen for $150 (-AR), or a nice AIO printer for $40 (-AR)

      Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
      Intel i7-920 2.66GHz, 1MB L2 + 8MB shared L3 cache
      8GB DDR3-1066MHz SDRAM [4 DIMMs]
750GB 7200 rpm SATA 3Gb/s hard drive FREE Upgrade! from 640GB
1GB ATI Radeon HD 4650 [DVI, HDMI, VGA]
LightScribe 16X max. DVD+/-R/RW SuperMulti drive
      Blu-ray ROM (player)
      Premium Wireless-N LAN card
15-in-1 memory card reader, 1 USB, 1394, audio
Integrated 7.1 channel sound with front audio ports
HP multimedia keyboard and HP optical mouse
      Microsoft(R) Works 9.0
      Norton Internet Security 2010 - 15 month

Sure I'm giving up a 1Gb of ram (not the worst), some HDD space and the GTS250, but your gaining Win7 (=$120) and a 2 year factory warranty. While me I'd wait for a 4770 to be $80 and upgrade with that as it's lower power, less heat, and smaller board would work much nicer in that box.

If they replace the gts250 with the HD5770 or 5750 it would be an excellent buy.
