Would have liked HDMI out on the video card, but otherwise can't complain.

This is very very good deal. You can't build a computer from parts for that price. I went to Newegg and added all the listed parts and no case/motherboard/WinVista and it already went pass $600.

When I configured as above the price in my cart is 849.99 after $150 instant rebate.
Does anyone know how/where to apply the coupon code to get the total to $600?

I think there is an error in the post, the coupon code is $250 off $999 not $250 off $850...am I wrong??

Ben's math is actually accurate, it just doesn't seem so because he doesn't explain that a $150 discoutn already applies at checkout and that this code can be stacked on top of the original discount. So the price is $999 as configured minus $150 = $749 - $250 = $599

the coupon will only work pass 850, Ben's calculation in based on 849 and that kills it

That is how it works out. You have to select the "Recoended set-up" system... then configure to use what the posting says.... then it drops it to the right price. Once going through checkout.... it will have a coupon code section... apply it there, and it will instantly subtract the extra $250.00

I ordered it for a friend of mine, and had no trouble at all. But the first try was wrong, because I selected the base model, and then the price didn't come out right. Once I hard workerand selected the "Recommended model" the price started higher, but when you pick what Ben says to, it drops it donw perfectly.

I think it's dead. States code is invalid.
