my friend brother and girlfriend all have this thing and all purchased it @ different prices. My advice is to not get it cause its still too expensive.

If you do decide to get it take the following notes:

      - the 8-cell battery is retarded. It is nice to have the extended life - but it sticks out of the back of the machine like a sore thumb. If you purchased a tablet it is probably because you want mobility. This battery sticks out so -bad it makes putting it in a bag dangerious to the machiene.

      - The Screen is not vibrant. Ok ok - i knew this before they purchased them - but it is really bad. I am not very judgmental - but the reds are not red; they are brown. (and yes i have adjusted them) this lack of color is unacceptable.

      - The viewing angle of the screen is not good either. When watching a movie on a bed - two people struggle to see the image. It is so bad that i refuse to watch anything on it. For a single person adjusting it might be ok - but when multiple people have to adjust it is impossible.

      - the Touch screen is not upto par. I am bias having owned a iphone with a spectacular touch screen. with this touch screen you have to use the pen. Your fingers will not do it.

      - Weak case. - On my brother's case the plastic latch holding the lid on pulled out leaving a huge hole. (it is true my brother is rough) On my girlfriends case the plastic case above the cpu vent cracked off. WTF? she never moves the thing around? I have seen the condition of here old computers - and none of them have ever resembled the slightest bit of wear. THis is unacceptable.

      - In my opinion it runs slow. Mabey it is vista - mabey i expect better - i do not know - but i was not satisfied nor impressed.

The technology is not there yet. Keep waiting
