      to me, this feels really cheapy, not very good quality. but i do know a friend who was pretty satisfied with it EXCEPT for the extended life battery, which is just horribly awkward and juts out from the bottom and back.

      #9, how is that a better config? The processor at BestBuy is for the older, HOT RM-70 series...

      We can always wait it out for the $500 off coupon, but then you won't be able to pick up the free 3GB RAM upgrade (so it comes out to be about the same).

      There are rumors that HP is trying to clear its tx2500z stock because the tx2600z is being released soon.

      the X61 with a similar config would cost about $400 more; not to mention there's no DVD drive unless you're willing to fork up another $200 for the dock and overpriced dvd drive...

      But the build quality of the X61 is much better, so it's kind of a you get what you paid for... -_-

      If only HP made it possible to configure the tx2500z for with an Intel Core2Duo chip, that would totally solve the heat and battery-life issue of this tablet...
