Buy.com had this printer for $20 around 6 weeks ago. I bought it and didn't expect much, but it has been great so far. Maybe a little slow.

Agree with #1. The original inks are still full and I have printed several pictures. I purchased a color laser right before I purchased this and was actually sorry as this fits the bill just fine.

How could Buy.com sell it so cheap? I have seen it at Best Buy and Circuit City for $99, or more. I'm not a big fan of Buy.com, but when they are giving stuff away, it's hard not to like them...

I got mine for $18.99 shipped from buy.com with a 5% coupon code. I don't know why I didn't buy the limit of 5.

This printer got good reviews at one time. Go to pricegrabber to search for it.

OUTRAGEOUS ink costs. The printer itself is a loss-leader for ink sales.

I had an earlier model of this and it constantly wanted to print alignment pages. it did print nice photos, otherwise was an ink hog from day one, a real pita in my opinion. for $20 it might be worth it, but not for $60 as they are everywhere in some variant.

If it uses the "Chip" cartridges I would stay far away. Also, the HP bloatware software sucks!
...along with their bullshit tech suppport from India.
