Ink will kill you.
Agreed #1, and what's with HP's 200 variants on this model? It's junk anyhow and requires a calibration page be printed with each cartridge replacement.
I plan never to buy another HP inkjet printer.
I bought an HP printer recently because they (HP) have a $50 rebate if you buy a printer over $69 and a PC, and I was buying a PC. I figure $20 is worth it for the ink and to use up my HP paper I've already invested in. When that runs out ...?
I don't think ink is as bad as some of you think. This printer
uses the separate ink tanks for each color; the tanks are $10
or 15 each. If you either let it go to sleep or power off only
from the front panel, it is pretty easy on the ink (don't turn
it off with a power strip, or it will have to clean the heads
every time you turn it on)
It uses the HP 564 ink series, though you can also get the XL versions for about five bucks more.
