Ends at 10PM PT. Sellout.woot! has the refurbished HP TouchPad 32GB 9.7" Tablet for $180 + $5 shipping = $185 shipped. Currently the feature exhibit at the Museum of Tablets. Its operating system webOS is now open source and lives on in the hearts of devotees.
9.7" LED multi-touch LCD, 1.3MP front camera, 802.11b/g/n
1.2GHz Snapdragon dual-core CPU, Flash support, Bluetooth
This might be a notch high for this tablet now, but it can be adapted to dual-boot Android and it really is a nice, if slightly old-fashioned, tablet. WebOS has some surprisingly nice features, too.
Still a good deal if you plan on making it dual-boot Android device. Hard to find a good 10" android tablet for under $200. Recently picked up a used one for the kids.
Audio goes out of sync in both webos and android. The camera still does not work for android. It works great as a boombox if you have visitors over. Other then that it does the job for browsing the web. I have no idea why but my evo 4g phone can stream the videos without any syn issues but the touchpad can't. Go figure.
Yeah spend a little bit more and get a whole lot more tablet experience. I had one of these and while mine didnt have any issues there is a ton more apps for android then on the hp side.
Still using it via CM9 to stream movies from my nas, play all the latest Android games, surf, read books, youtube..baconns good. My family enjoys it very much for $100....can't be beat. Looking forward to JB.
Woot Woot..... HP Tablet still around.
