Great deal - I got my 16GB from Woot for not much less. Agreed #1, WebOS is actually pretty cool. The ICS build for the Touchpad is also getting closer to being "done", though I hear it's pretty useable right now.
Edit: Adds to cart at $230 - not sure if deal is dead or the pricing is wrong somehow. The page still says $190.99.
I enjoyed the 2 I got from the original fire sale, ran android quite well, then they got stolen and insurance gave me enough to buy 1 Transformer Prime, I like the wide screen format much much better. But for the price I had no complaints about the Touchpads, unless I paid the original price, lol
Basically this is an iPad 1 hardware, you can get iPad 1 with 32GB for about $250 now and have access to 250k iPad native apps. Android only less than 30k tablet apps and most games require Tegra.
Oh yea it's got dual-core but we all know that Android OS is more dependent on CPU speed while iOS has both the CPU and GPU working together that's why things run smoother on iOS while Android need like 1.5GHZ to match a 1GHZ Apple device.
Even now the Asus Transformer is only $250 refurb and beats the pants out of the Touchpad.
This is closer to IPad 2 hardware with a dual core cpu than it is to IPAD 1 hardware. Not all that relevant though. I would go with a A500 or Thrive on sale over this.

Not even close. It's double the thickness of iPad 2 and to this date not even the Tegra 3 as beaten the iPad 2 in GPU performance.
Dual core does not mean it's the same performance. If that's the case, why isn't AMD winning the CPU war with extra cores than Intel.
It is a very good tablet for the price but unfortunately the APPS are limited.

I got a brand new 32GB model from Best Buy for $150 last week. I guess they "found" some remaining inventory.
My Cyanogen Andriod woks very well on my TouchPad. The only thing that doesnt work is the video on Skype.
Works great for me. I use it to read kindle content, surf the web, check email, and watch most online video content.

Waste of money imo.
HP can take their touchpads and shove them up their ass!

But what if Kris gets ahold of it? Seems like double thickness would make it sturdier.
