A $209 32gb Touchpad was certainly hot deal one year ago, but now 2nd hand or refurb iPad & iPad2 became very cheap after Apple release New iPad. You can get a 2nd hand 32gb iPad1 for $230 from Cowboom.com. Of course, condition varies.
Its actually a pretty smooth tablet. It attracts finger prints like crazy just like most others.
I really liked it. I'm considering picking one up. The accessories are coming way down in price as well. I saw the bluetooth keyboard for this on another site for twenty something dollars...
I'm happy with my Touchpad, and certainly at the time of the fire sale and for a long time afterwards they were a good deal hardware-wise. ICS supposedly is pretty good on them too. However, like #3 points out, iPads and other Android tablets are around the same price point now (and more on the horizon) so Touchpads are getting a bit stale.
@TheF0nz: I have the Skinomi TechSkin HP TouchPad Screen Protector (which is on Clearance right now for $6.95 + S&H) and it works wonderfully for reducing fingerprints without degrading screen control! and they have a "Lifetime Replacement Guarantee" which I have had to use for my blackberry that bricked on me and was replaced by VZW.

If HP ever released the Pre3, then this would have made sense.
See you in He11 HP and Palm for getting my hopes so high!

Thanks fyrlmco, I ordered some of those screen protectors with coupon: get25 (-25% and free shipping).
I love my TouchPad after I ported it to Android. Tons of apps.
