Lets Talk has the HTC Droid Incredible Android Phone for $80 with free shipping. Requires signing up for a Verizon Wireless account. Features Android 2.1 skinned with HTC Sense, 8MP camera, WiFi, GPS, and AMOLED capacitive touchscreen.
Awesome phone. I think it is better than an iphone due to the google interface and flexibility - so much so that I have friends who play with the phone and have the "I wish my iphone did that" look. Add on Verizon service and no dropped calls (my apple-fan friend has admitted there is truth to the iPhone 4 dropped calls issue), and there is no reason to get an iPhone. The only downside is slightly shorter battery life when compared to an iphone, but at least you can use a second battery when traveling (iphone batteries cannot be user replaced).
I got the iPhone 3GS (32GB) in May, a month before the i4. I didn't want the i4 - new platform meant likely bugs and fewer third-party stuff (for now). I LOVE the 3GS, and I am not an apple fanboy. I upgraded from teh HTC Tilt (running Mobile Windows OS) which was clunky as heck (was that HTC, or the Win OS?) The iPhone -just-works. It transitions smoothly from music to an incoming phone call; the 3-way line calling works great. Email is fast and smooth. I am immensely impressed, and have learned to deal with a closed system. IS THERE ANYONE WHO HAS USED BOTH THE 3GS and THIS NEW HTC? The 8MP camera would seem nicer than the iPHone's 3MP camera. However, I strongly suspect the HTC sucks wind in lower light because teh photowells have got to be smaller.
#3 My droid, just works too. I can't answer the question about the music transition because personally I havent run into the situation more than a couple times. The chunkiness of the HTC Tilt would be the Win OS, not HTC and in no way should be compared to this phone. 3 way calling? Thats a random feature to care about (my opinion at least). Email? RIM did that great, well before the first iphone. Not sure that is even worth comparing as they all do it pretty well. Yes I have friends and met people who have had iphones and switched to various android phones (this being one of the best). The camera comes with a dual LED flash. So, no it does not "suck wind" in low light.

does it have a signal kill switch like the iphone 4 does? didn't think so. clearly inferior.

I have a friend who worked at Verizon and bought this phone. He promptly took it back 2 weeks later and bought a palm pixie plus.
hey logen99999, why you need a signal kill switch for when you have lousy reception to begin with ! apple bites !
