I got one of these about 6-mo ago. The first had a leaking fuel tank, quickly replaced. The second was badly our-of-tune and I had to learn how to tune a 2-stroke, I was clueless. Requires a special tool and once explained, fairly easy.
Both saws were built in Sweden in 2008, no idea where they were hiding before refurbishing.
Nice lightweight saw and at $142 a bargain compared to the new price.
The 2xx series are rebadged Poulans, the better Poulans, but the 435 is a real Made (probably assembled) in Sweden Husqvarna. The 435 is the newer X-Torq 2-stroke design, meaning less gas consumption and more power, but it is still a smaller saw more suitable for a 16" bar, but will pull 18" fine if you take your time.
Buy the appropriate carb tuning screwdriver right away, richen it up slightly, always store empty of fuel (empty tank and then run until dry), always use fresh gas and quality 2-stroke lube, take care of warranty issues immediately, and the 435 will provide excellent service.

If I hadn't already bought a Stihl, I'd bought a Husqvarna.
I can't get the blood stains and bone fragments out of my saw. Is there a DIY on cleaning these things?
