I ordered one last time they went on sale. It's a nice tablet, but make sure you flash the firmware to version 4 0 3 or the Google app store does not work. My tablet shows the build number crane_m723gdxa7-eng 03 IML74K 20120302test-keys. I tried a later release and it did not work so I had to flash it back to this one. Oh, and it ships with the default language as Chinese. To fix that, click the black square icon with three lines that end in circles. Click the icon on the settings screen that looks like an A in a white square. The first item in the list brings up the language setting, from there you should be able to read the list in English.

I find it funny that people rip on focalprice everyday, yet Ben puts up the same tablets every day.

And they ALWAYS go right to yellow, orange or in this case nearly sizzling.

I am going on 2 months bickering back and forth with Focal price regarding a device that never came. Only after 45 days did the tracking number show up. Guess who sells stuff that isn't on their shelves?

Buyer beware. I can't keep up with the daily post of this tablet on this website, so I can't save everyone...

So #2, are you saying that the "hotness" scale of each deal is not truly an indicator of how good the deal is but some other factor? Are you implying that stores can influence this in some way? Perhaps paying for it? I hope that's not true but it would explain a lot.

I paid extra to ship it faster when I ordered mine. I ordered it on 2-25, it shipped on 2-27, and I had it on 3-6. 10 days is not bad. I ordered an MP3 player later for my daughter and that arrived too, though I didn't pay any extra for shipping on it so it took a little while longer.
