It half makes sense... when you use the term like "85W" it really means 85 watt hours... if you shrink the time down to an instant, no electrons are flowing because time has stopped.
Some people think watts per hour is the same as watt hours because our language implies the correlation but watts per hour is better used to describe a rate of change in power consumption or usage rather than a steady-state or average consumption.
However I don't tend to think 85W is too much, when you consider that the addt'l wattage is for a larger screen that gives off more light you can factor that you need less other illumination on the room.
It'll increase the A/C bill ever so slightly in summer but decrease it in winter, but the same can be said for allowing humans in the room and we don't put up signs that read "no humans allowed" even though the average adult male consumes a little over 85W.
I wish more monitor stands used the VESA mounts so you could just take the screws out and rotate it before screwing it back in, that would be handy on a multi-monitor setup.
Wow, 28 inches! This monitor can now show my c o c k's entire life size length minus the balls! Hello ladies!
Run this through Bing cashback to get it for $212 + shipping.
I would buy if it wasn't such an energy hog at 85 watts per hour.
That's just 85watts. 85 watts per hour doesn't make sense. Time has nothing to do with how many watts the computer is drawing.
