Seems really-really-really over engineered for what it does.
#2 Yep.. your right..Over engineered.. I use two mental plate from the back of my computer case that cover the PCI ports. Bend into L shape drill four small hole and you got a really nice bracket for free, wase of money, Not like you can see it from outside of your case..
#2, it may be over-engineered, but for $5 after rebate, it works well and allows me to slide my 2.5" drives in and out easily.
a couple pieces of velcro will secure a 2.5" drive in a desktop.
