this is a great deal, you should order more than one. At this price everyone here should get one as this is a very important device to own. I sure hope soon they create a SAS to USB device like this one.

This does seem to be a great deal. What I don't understand is how they offer free shipping on it from Hong Kong. Seems that it would cost more that 4 bucks just to mail it. The last time I received something from Hong Kong with free shipping, it was sent registered mail for a $2 item!!

Well, more people are interested in those IDE/SATA to USB kits that also include a power supply.

How do they ship ANYTHING from Hong Kong for $4? Seems like it would cost more than that to move air, let alone a product.

You can get better ones for a similar price from DealExtreme or monoprice.

oh well, bestbuy charges you more than $4 for a power cable, or a SATA cable. What do you expect?

I bought these back in july as a "just in case" I need to replace my Tivo drive with a larger SATA drive. Didn't use it yet, hope it works when I need it though.

This is absolutely correct, plus these are reputable, unlike the scum from Bensie's pals at Meritline.

#9 and #15 I bought 5 of these few month ago, All works fine. At that time, Mertline is the cheapest. I like DealEx, Where they have Volume Discount, while Mertline don't..
