It does not have a "removable dock"... it has removable dock INSERTS - you use the correct insert for your iPod.
Does not support ipod from the back, you have to use two hands to change anything. The ipod more or less balances on the dock. Buyer beware.

Agreed...I got as a gift back when they were $90. Still going great, plus has an aux-in for my Sansa. Not sure what #2 is talking about...the iPod is supported; not very well, but it does have a back support.
