Every household needs one of these.
$8 seems a little expensive. I've seen them for $5 or less.
its not really "self" powered if i have to crank it =|
I have one. Good, sturdy and charge stays for a long time unlike the shakelights. But you can get a better deal else where though. With the current 20% live.com rebate, you can get a better deal than this on a similar item. =)
These are great - especailly for kids with typically leave flashlights on.
Go to Homedepot, they have a combo with three of these for $10.
I understand the Big Three Car Company bailout will include proposals for incorporating this technology...part of the Obama Green Initiative.
Oh, it'll be a handheld item alright, when it breaks off in your HAND! like mine did.
If only everything allowed you to work the handle for only a minute and get an hour of continuous service!!!
You're never gonna use this, don't waste your money. I have one and it just sits in a drawer. The instructions want to to wind it up every three months and for at least 1 minute.
That does seem like quite the imposition, # 10.
I prefer my solar powered flashlight. I keep it by the screen door of my submarine.
i have had one for years bought at walgreens for $15 worked great for the first 6-9 months of use, now you have to crank it alot to get any where near the power it used to have . not sure why but it is great for kids or emergencys
definately great for emergencies and I can't tell you how many times i have needed a flashlight but all of the ones in the house had dead batteries. cheap and handy
I have one of these in the 3 cars I own. You never know when you gonna need them.
I bought a bundle that included three of these for 9.99 at home depot couple of weeks ago. It looks the same.
They have solar powered flashlights. It was on Ben's a week or two ago.
great for camping
I love handhelditems.com

I have one, it works well.
