Base metal is brass. This watch is stainless steel. Why turn your wrist green after the plating wears off?
^ I've a 20+ year old Timex beater watch that's plated with a brass alloy base metal. It has not turned green or turned my wrist green, where the plating wore off it just looks dull gray. However the back hatch on it and on this watch which is the primary contact point with your wrist, is 100% stainless.
