It's easier to throw $11 out the car window since it doesn't result in a bunch of vinyl and packaging taking space in the trash.
I'm going against the crowd here, but I have one and love it. It's great for bbqs, fill it full of ice, put it in the shade, and it'll keep stuff cold for hours, even in our miserably hot Southern summers. Deflate it and it stores easily for next time. Big enough to hold a decent amount of side dishes. Oh, and it comes packaged in a cardboard box, easily recycled.
