    Great if you have a netbook... Why does the same technology with a bit extra plastic for a 15" or larger laptop costs $50 or more.

    #1 This one is in the same "class" as the $10-$25 coolers you can find for other laptop sizes. Which go on sale for similar prices, so you should be able to find a 15" cooler at a price like this if it were on sale.

    The problem is that cheap little coolers in this price range usually aren't any more effective than elevating your laptop an extra half inch off the ground, so the laptops own fans can get proper ventilation.

    This thing is smallish as coolers go. But the worst thing is mine came warped and trying to bend it to flatten out makes the top and bottom pieces almost come apart -- without flattening. Piece of junk. 8 bucks down the drain.
