Intel has the best rep for reliability, that's why. There are too many failire-prone SSDs out there and warranty does not cover data and time lost messing with hardware. However, Samsung might be an exception since they also have a good rep but I think intel is the reliability standard.
I have built 5 PC's with the Intel brand SSD's. I have read that Intel had the jump on the technology and they are more refined. Whether that is true I dont know but they are all humming along so not going to question it.
Garbage for > $1/GB = backbutton
Price is not everything.
Better price than last year though.
A great SSD if you put long-term reliability over $/GB or bleeding edge performance.
Yeah i dont think many people realize that SSD drives are over twice as fast as the old spinner.
And last over twice as long too!
Funny how peeps build gaming cases and skimp out on the hard disk which we all know has been the bottleneck in PCs for decades...until now
True, price is not everything. But Sandisk, Samsung, and Kingston are all a lot cheap than this one. Why buy this one? Please tell me.
