      I would get the cheaper Core I5 instead of this which is suppose to replace the core 2 quad line.

      this is not a deal. You can get an I7 for 200 at microcenter and an I5 for the same.

      the I5 is available everywhere, costs the same and beats this one in performance so why would anyone get this?

      they'd get this because they already have a machine with LGA775 and only need a processor upgrade, instead of replacing the machine

      I want to slap all you rodeo cowboy that keep mentioning "why get this instead of an i5?" or something along that line. Once again, not all of us want to go out and buy new mobo and new memory to go with that new i7 or i5, sheesh.Bunch of freakin tards.
