    Bad deal. This i7-950 is available at Micro Center for $200 (and was there for this price for many months).

    Sweet, I'll just drive the 11.5hrs each way to the closest Micro Center. That $40 I save will be well worth it.

    This i7 is great for performance system with tripple channel memory and several high speed PCIe slots. For a basic system with the same CPU performance, the new i5 2500k may be a better deal for $180 at MC. The i5 is also more energy efficient.
