    is this worth it ..or is there a better build out there?...and does anyone know how much more do i have to pay to turn this barebone into a gaming monster =)

    Power supply isn't fantastic but it's alright. Should be able to toss a 4890 in there. Or better yet, wait until the 5770 comes out, it's being reviewed as on par with/better than the 4890, @ $170 MSRP, and DX11. (Mobo only has 1x PCIe 16, and the PSU is too weak for two cards, so forget crossfire)

    You'll need a DVD drive, a good burner will run you ~$20 if you wait for a deal.

    So looking at another $190 minimum, plus whatever your OS may cost you.


    $750, no screen. For that price I'd rather build a more expandable 775 system with a Q9550, heavier PSU, and the option for future expansion to crossfire 5770/4890. This would last until some day when HT on Quad Cores was seriously utilized by games. As it stands, few games will even utilize Quad Cores.
