Good deal.
Why use anything McAfee when you can download Avira for free?
Umm this is also free?
Not worth the Risk, I have send in rebates few times with McAfee, they keep telling me that they send in the checks already, but Never recived any money.. Scam.. Other than the Programs McAfee Internet Security 2009 works Great, I have no problems with that..
McAfee is one of the worst antivirus programs. I wouldn't use it even with it being free.
yeah, thats what I have read and seen myself, and experienced long back uptil 2006, thats Mcafee is too much hassle.
Does anyone know if they have improvised?
I don't know why/ or how they are still surviving even if hardly anyone I know is using these. They did used to be good at one time, but that was long time ago. For some reason Mcafee stock is also at very high price. does anyone know whats with mcafee?
Mcafee is probably doing better now that companies are cutting costs and going with them instead of a higher priced product like Norton.
. If they block Bensbargains I don't know what I'll do.
My company is using them for an internet filter now. They blocked my fantasy leagues
"If they block Bensbargains I don't know what I'll do."
LOL. Find another job and ask the new employer whether or not they let you shop LOL.
McAfee products are used widely. Many colleges use them.
I used them for few years. They do not pick all the bad guys but no one is perfect. Automatic/scheduled update and scanning work fine. I personally like Kaspersky for its aggressiveness but this one is not bad IMHO.
don't trust mail in rebates
Complete GARBAGE BLOAT baconnaise software, like Norton.
However, I hear Norton is a bit better for 2009.
Still baconnaise IMO.
Use any of these for FREE: AVG, AVAST, Avira.
I tried them all and I like AVAST the best, but all are good!
I use Avast and am happy with it. Sure this is free AR, but don't you have to buy a subscription after a certain time?
#10, its quiet a coincidence that people like free Antivirus
that begins with letter A
Not to mention Adaware
