IT seems this site has gone to crap ever since Ben left. Now this change just sets the last nail on the coffin.
New design is confusing and just plain SUCKS. Looks like something from the 90's.
Guess I'll be going elsewhere for deals from now on.

Los Angeles-based Internet Brands disclosed Tuesday as part of its earnings report that the firm has purchased two web sites, BensBargains.net, and GrooveJob.com.
Ben has been gone for almost 3 years now.
Is taking some getting used to, but I think it's all good.
this site gave me gonorrhea. true story.
Me too #2. Good work Ben.
#4: Ain't no Ben. He's long since sold out of this website.
maybe it's just me... but is there Major style sheet issues?
I don't see separation between the products anymore in Chrome, in Firefox it's fine.
I think you need to rename the style sheet, and force the pages to pull the new one,it's not working on Chrome properly
Try ctrl+F5 to force a full page reload.
Bring back giveaway products people want to win
I haven't seen the separation between products anymore either the past few days in Chrome. Guess I'm not the only one.
they fixed it
really like this new design. IT ROCK
Is there any way to opt out of this new Fisher-Price look? I really, really don't like it.
BB new owners must be disappointed in their purchase, since this place turned to crap in the few years since they bought it. Haven't been here in weeks, SD has all the real deals anyway
New Design..
I find I need to scroll more to see the offerings, fewer on each screen (1600 x 1200 res 20 incher).
I find the prices harder to read, given the color choices.
Separation between products seems space wasted, fools eye into thinking I'm at the end. Have to look right to scroll bar.
Would choose older design, given option.
Thanks
I hate the new design it's hard to spot items. Before the item would stand out now it's just the two big buttons which detract from the deal.
I hope the design is reverted. I've already started looking for alternatives to Ben's Bargains and I've been coming here for years.
Thanks Dave_c for redirecting.
The new design looks detached, uninformative, and ugly.
The site is about selling and discussing merchandises. The "old" design look decent. The things that should be improved are the site's features, not the look. But if you want to improve the look that bad, then make it clearer, lighter, and brighter like Google's. Google has minimal graphics but it is making huge profit.
More thanks to Dave_C for redirecting. Here are my comments:
Boy, I second these a big bunch! For starters:
(1) The title can be so long that the name of the supplier can't be seen.
(2) I can't "right click Open in new window" to see "discuss" so it really slows me down and disuades me from looking at the "discuss"
Everybody seems to be going the "More glitz, less info" route anymore
The ads take up more space when means more scrolling to see the "deals". I find I am using this site less since the change. I get bored with it more quickly than I used to.
This design is awful and clearly demonstrates the fact that someone made design decisions without any actual regard to their functionality.
What was this site about?
A) The item being posted
B) The price of the item
C) The discussion happening around the item.
B is still okay. However, the item in question is now less obvious because of the giant frame and buttons around it, and worst of all, the discussion is virtually invisible when scrolling through the page. Tiny font next to a bunch of other tiny fonts, UNDER the item itself, does not lend itself to easy visibility. An item I might not otherwise be interested in could easily entice me to at least click through when I see several discussion posts which let me know it might be worth considering.
I'm not against change or redesign. Some change can be good. However, this was a big step back. Whereas I used to visit Ben's at least daily if not more than once a day, I rarely look now.
I don't get it...if Internet Brands owns this site *and* owns vBulletin, why are they using PHPBB as the backend?! hmmmm....
