These always degrade RGB video, and you can get a cheap kb and mouse for less.
if your worried about degrading your video quality then you probably would want to spend the money on decent quality keyboards. KVM's work great if you have any servers setup or any kind of multiple computer setup. I personally have a dual monitor setup anyway. One monitor outputs to the KVM along with my keyboard and mouse while the other video outputs directly to a monitor. Allows me to easily manage a lot of machines. I personally use a 4 port KVM that I purchased from newegg.
