I bought a KVM switch and regretted getting it without audio. I didn't think I'd need it considering I was using it for working on a 2nd PC without needing another monitor. First "doh" was setting up new systems and having to test if the audio driver worked! 2nd, you'll find you might want to just hook it to a 2nd PC that you might find the need for audio.
i have one (don't need audio), never had any problems. fraction of a second delay between two systems.
