I like the idea of this. It has been my experience that these devices discharge quickly even when not in use. Not sure how this particular one is though.
You can get a mini/micro USB adapter for like $2. I bought a handful a while ago. I don't think mine work for data but work fine for power.
I got this in the mail today. It DOES now include a Micro USB power tip.
