the rebate actually comes for this.
Anyone used either the iolo FW or AV? I have used the iolo drive scrubber (works great btw) but never their FW or AV...anyone? Thanks.
I almost bought Drive Scrubber. Do you run Vista or XP? I was wondering how well it works, cause I've seen some negative feedback relating to Drive Scrubber.
I have the older version 2 & run XP. To be clear I have never installed the app within Windows, rather used the retail disc as a boot CD to bypass the OS. Once inside I can select the drive and wipe it with default or custom settings. I have been using drive scrubber for over 2 years now and have only had a single issue where the application had issues mounting a SATA drive on a Dell PC. Other than that, I am very pleased with the product overall and am looking to upgrade to version 3 when I see a good deal
(free AR sounds good to me).
I don't know why but after I installed this AV my Windows XP cannot update itself. It just freezes and crashes. Lame. I googled it and found they'd had a problem with this before.
