    Does the digitization process get rid of all the crackles and pops or will it still sound like a vinyl record playing?

    Christ some people are stupid. You get a higher quality sound from vinyl than you do from cd's. It is a fact. Do some research.

    This item is all about convenience but not sound quality. If you prefer quality sound-- pass it.

    It's fine for sound quality. It's not a direct drive turntable for 3x the price, but it does the job and it's pretty easy. It might be the extra little push you needed to finally digitize your vinyl, instead of just thinking about doing it eventually, maybe, someday.
