Ion? Who the burp is this company? If you are gonna buy a turntable, but it from a manufacturer thats been in the turntable game for years - like Numark, Stanton, and the dj standard Technics.

Numark makes a very similar turntables like this one for $75

#2, where can I get a Numark USB turntable for $75? Checked on ebay and they're going for well over $100. any help would be appreciated, been looking for a reasonably priced USB TT for a few months now.

You're actually better off using your own turntable or picking up a good Rega or Thorens turntable at a yard sale, and adding a USB phono preamp like the ART USB Phono Plus ($90 on Amazon). More flexibility, and you'd have a hard time finding a turntable as low-end as the Ion. Also, don't forget to get a good cartridge; most Grados are excellent values.

It is used to be very easy to pick up mid-range but good condition turntable like Dual, Rotel, Technics or sometimes you can find brand name turntable from yard sale or swap meet. However the good turntable are hard to find any more. (I did pick up my antique Audio Linear Td-4001 with SME arm for $20 at swap meet- what a deal!!)
It is old school but LP sounds much better than CDs ( If you have a good cartridge Like Sure v-15 III , IV , V or Grado cartridge).

If you just want to get your LPs into digital form, this would work. Buy it, use it, sell it.
