Bias software has proven invaluable to me by helping to pass judgment on people before I get all the facts

I have over 400 LP's left to convert, so I wish I had bought one of these at Costco when they were only $99 a year or so ago. Fortunately, my sister bought one, so I just need to point out to her how it's now wasting space in her garage..... Wink

How many LP's is the needle -- AKA stylus -- good for? Is it replaceable for less than the price of a new turntable?

#5 A couple of web sites say that the stylus on a turntable will last 500 hours. For my Sony turntable (PS-LX250H) it would be about $30 to replace the stylus.

Be very careful with any purchase transaction made with Buy.com. During checkout you may see a promotional offer from TLG*Everyday which will cause a recurring charge to your credit card. TLG*Everyday (aka Trilengent) has numerous consumer complaints documented at http://www.consumeraffairs.com/scam_alerts/trilegiant_complaints.html .

I believe Buy.com is a willing participant in this consumer fraud through its relationship with TLG*Everyday.
