Q: How long does it take to copy 2TB at USB 2.0 speeds?

Answer: Days. That's after you get it formatted which would probably take at least a day.

This will great in my Rapture shelter I built under my house. Even if hell comes to earth, I'll have my complete collecting of Perfect Strangers episodes safe and by my side.

Disaster Proof, huh? Kind of like an Unsinkable Ship? Disasters are 'acts of god'. I mean, seriously, who challenges the gods? Just buying one of these is asking for a plague or earthquake or something.

I wonder if the 5 year disaster recovery includes hard drive failure? A hard drive in a sealed insulated box is asking for disaster.

The data is useless to you if you can't find the drive after your house or office building collapsed from a fire or earth quake. It will be buried deep under the rubbles and not accessible. This is why you still need to have remote storage of all your important data. At best, this drive makes a good secondary backup, but you need a better primary backup source. For the same price, you can buy 4 to 5 pocket size USB or firewire drives to backup daily and take it out of the building with you on a rotation.
