I don't know about this specific brand, but my friend had one of these and as long as you find a non-transmitting channel it worked fine. I'll probably get one for 3 bucks.

I had something similar to transmit my cell phone calls through the car radio and it worked great if the frequency wasn't used. That device, had two frequencies it transmitted on, so you had a better chance of having one work.

I've tried and threw away at least 3 different ones.
Finally I got one that works - Griffin iTrip iPod FM Transmitter Car Charge Nano Touch on ebay.
Charges your ipod and does a pretty good job transmitting. In 6 months driving in NYC, I only had to change the channel twice.

#6 if you're thinking of buying this, my 2 cents: if you live in a big city, empty frequencies are hard to find. In Los Angeles, everytime I found an empty freq, after driving a few miles I would pick up noise. I had this problem with both a cheapie brand and an iTrip. If you happen to have a casette deck, get a tape adapter instead.

But at $3 free shipping, I guess it's not a big deal to try it out.

They are poor quality and will break, but for 3 dollars its a good deal. I mean you get what you pay for honestly.

best thing with these types of products is to really read the reviews from a few different sites before buying. Cheap is enticing, but sucks when is works crapily.

Ya after recieving this, I can confirm it's crap. It only broadcasts to 2 predefined frequencies, and does so poorly that you'll be lucky to here a static-filled whisper from your ipod. BAD.
