Apple Store has the refurbished iPod classic 80GB Digital Music/Video Player for $179 + $0 shipping = $179 shipped. This is the latest generation iPod with Cover Flow & other dubious improvements. It has an all-metal design, with 30hour(s) battery life in audio mode. Storage for up to 20,000 songs or up to 100 hours of video. [BizRate]

Oh yeah brainiac, I'm worried about the kill switch for my iPod. WTF?!?

By the way, this is a good deal. Buy one.

My 30 gig video ipod went bonkers last week after 3 years of hard use, hope it just the battery. I did get a refurbish 80 gig classic from apple for $179 with full 1 yr warranty, it is an improvement over the 5th yr 30 gig one, longer battery life and brighter..Free shipping also.

Yes, I have 3 x 30g ipods bought 2 years ago (1 per kid including me). No issues, good deal. I am replacing mine with an 80g because I am tired of juggling 60g worth of music. itunes sucks big time.
