Nice #2, it's programmable and it sucks. Perfect for you, and it's way less expensive than the VSM.
Sorry to disappoint you, but this one doesn't suck. The vacuum hardware is absent on this model, so while the iRobot Create may be a fun toy for a hobbyist, don't plan on cleaning the floor with it any time soon.
