Got one. It's slow, messy to clean up, and gets hung up constantly.

Buy some 1-1/4 PVC Pipe, couple 90 degree elbows and attach to the blower on your shop vac. Cost less than $15.00

make sure you wear a hat and raincoat.

#2, hats off, very funny. #7, no gutter guard is 100%, you still have to clean them out, and with guards on it makes it that much more of a hassle. I now use pygmy goats. They're sure footed(never had one fall off the roof), are not picky about the gutter content, and don't ask for benefits...

Gutter guards make it more of a PITA to clean, you have to take them off to get the shingle debris out. Granted, that's not much buildup after the first half dozen years the shingles age from new, but this robot looks like more trouble than it's worth, if the gutters are gunked up with sediment you'll need to DIY, and if they are just filled with dry leaves then a leaf blower with a gutter extension kit will do the trick.

#8 Wear scuba-kit and then a firehouse to wash yourself off, if it has rained in the last 6 weeks, that is.

#9 You take the blonde, and I'll take the one in the turban.

Agree with the comments about gutter guards, BTW - the neighbours seem to spend more time cleaning underneath theirs than I do with the dirt vapouriser.

I use gutter guards and a leaf blower. I leave the gutter guard on the end loose so it is not attacked to the gutter (just under the shingles) I blow the debris towards the end(walking on the roof) where it is blown out of the gutter. most of it seems to be shingle grit so it will blow out through the gutter guard holes anyways.
