If you don't have Roomba you need one. Works perfect for me, I have pets and hardwood floors.

Tigger speaks the truth...going on 3 years with my Roomba. Tech services fixed a 'circle dance' issue a year ago, no questions asked (1.5 years after warranty expired).

Love Roomba. Requires extra cleaning that you don't need to do with an upright, and they definitely don't like tassles on rugs, but all in all a great product.

the roomba doesn't do so well on camput. Doesn't clean that well. But it's awesome for the busy grad student. Just pick up your PS3 controller first.

Thanks great deal, I just bought it. I remember buying this from Hammacher Schlemmer for $300 2 years back. I had a problem with it 1 1/2 later so they refunded my full money since they offer lifetime warranty and full refund. Now for half the price, I think it's a great deal, so I am buying it again cause it did a great job cleaning my room.

I've tried several Roombas, but always end up returning them because these Roombas would just keep on going and going like there is no tomorrow until the battery is almost drained, then they return to the base station. It never THINKS it finishes the job. It always go back due to low battery, not job completion. This results in long noisy vacuum time.

Anyone has one that actually works? What model is it?

Works great if you hate vacuuming. Obviously it won't do as well as an upright, but it does a darn good job for it's size.

The dust container is super easy to clean...you just pull out and throw the dirt out and then insert the bin again...
