Jury's still out, but so far 4/5 stars. I bought this last time I saw it here. I am very impressed so far. It was like new (couldn't tell it was "refurb" at all, unlike the well-used "refurb" Dyson I bought a few years ago). Works very well on tile, not wonderful on wood (leaves a dull finish), but I've only used it twice so far. It does clean well and might replace your mopping 2 out of 3 times on wood floors, if you want them to look really clean. However, I will never mop that damned tile again...it looks better after Scooba than when I clean it. Fun to watch...the kids love it. My wife is NOT sold on it yet at all, and I thought I was buying it to hlep her! Turns out I just wanted a new toy...
Anything a robot cleans that I don't have to can never be too slow...I've owned 3 roombas ever since the original red came out. All still running well. Haven't tried the Scooba, but the reviews are pretty good...note it doesn't work on unsealed wood floor. If you have a lot of tile, seems like a no brainer at this price.
by the time you prep the robot move the funiture and clean out all the parts when it is finished, you could have done it yourself and it will come out much cleaner.. i have it, used it 4 times. been sitting in my garage for almost a year now.. would not waste my money!
i think my mom will love this since she has arthritis. it would make good use of her time =) i am buying it.
