case is ultra heavy gauge steel with cast aluminum front. overkill. think '60s era high voltage switch box. usually you hear reviewers complain that the metal is too thin.
^ I don't think a case can ever be too sturdy, especially in this small size the weight won't be an issue if you have to move it unlike a full tower.
I'd imagine that at most it is 1.0mm steel sheeting. 8.9" x 8.3" footprint, might make a nice pedestal for a monitor though that puts it pretty close to your ears while many reviewers commented on the PSU fan being very loud.
