I have two Jabra devices (BT350 and BT125). Both work fairly well and work for a long time on a single charge. The only complaint is that sometimes the other person on the line hears an echo when they talk, but I haven't been told that it is annoying. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, they are great for occasional use. If you are thinking of stapling one of these to your ear, you might want to spend some more money on a better one.

This unit doesn't take AAA batteries. It takes a "AAAA" battery.
It is not a very common battery but you can hack a 9 volt energizer battery which has 6 small AAAA batteries in it.
They are a little smaller and the polarity may be wrong on them so you should use a meter to test them before trying to use or if you try to use only try for a couple of seconds then flip it around otherwise the battery could overheat. To fill in the extra spact on folded up a piece of reynolds wrap and put it on the flat side of the battery. I prefer this unit over rechargeables because I can easily replace the battery in the field rather than use an adapter to recharge a battery at a power outlet which is a pain.

I like this unit alot. I've been using it for a couple of weeks.
It pairs and connects easily and the sound is good. No Echo. I think echo can be found on all phones that have the volume turned up too loud. My blackberry controls the volume from the phone and works great.
