For a realistic home theater experience, you really need:
1. Gum embedded into just about everywhere on your seat.
2. Expensive candy.
3. Really horrible popcorn with rancid butter-like ooze on the top.
4. A person behind you who kicks your seat once per minute.
5. Some people in front of you who insist on talking throughout the movie.
6. A child somewhere in the auditorium who is bawling.
7. Sporadic cell phone ring tones firing off all around the place.
Until a home theater system faithfully replicates the real thing, I'm off to the movies.

For those who haven't heard of Jamo, they're good (and now owned by Klipsch). Apparently, they've won lots of awards in Europe. I have a 5.1 in-ceiling set at home, and they sound excellent.
How do they compare to Bose systems?

@ #4: You're probably joking. But, in case you're not, Bose sucks. Really. They're the most overpriced speaker ever made. You can get pretty much any other speaker set for half the price that sounds better than a Bose system. Read up on pretty much any audio/video forum out there.
As far as how THIS EXACT system compares to any given Bose system, dunno. But you'd have to pay me to get Bose.
