Does this work with the iPhone 3g?
my buddy has one. i plugged in my iphone 3g, and it sounded good. But, the cellular interference cause the speakers to make some odd noise every once in a while.bacon was really really loud too. I'd quickly reach for the power button because it was unbearably loud
ther's the obvious "airplane mode" but then just get a touch, right?
I can't get a straight answer from JBL CS but it seems that this will not work with any of the newer ipods. You can plug into it externally but you will be on battery power, it won't charge while you are playing.
You are correct about the charging. I have an iPod Touch and this unit does not charge the ipod when connected to the base.
