Yellow and black is a common color scheme among poisonous animals

Red touching black, you're okay Jack. Red touching yellow, you're a dead fellow.

They work well for small point and shoot cameras, but i think you can find these cheaper.

Looks like something the kids would make with pipe cleaners at school

#6, there are different sizes depending on your camera size. Yes, this one is for small cameras, but check here for other sizes http://joby.com/products/gorillapod/findmygpod/. This is a cool product.

I got one of these for my husband a couple months ago at Walmart.com for $10. I think it was a special sale, Ben had it featured here. He seems to like these. And yes, it will only hold a small camera. Husband's Canon S2IS makes it fall over.

The cheap $5 aluminum mini tripods with a small bungee cord works, too. Their seems to be a good deal of hype about these Gorillapods.

Great product. I have the "generic" one from Wal*Mart and it works just as good.

As stupid as it sounds, this is one of my favorite items in the ol' camera bag. I (skeptically) received one as a gift a couple years back, and I now use it all the time. I've certainly seen them cheaper than this, so you might shop around. But even at this price, it will work out to pennies per use.

$22 is the retail price. Is Ben just trying to generate gift ideas for us?
