Bought this last year from Staples with same rebate promotion – never saw the promised money from Kaspersky.

I agree. I bought the Kaspersky IS 7 in 2007 and I got the rebate without any trouble. I bought 2009 in Fall 08, sent in the two rebates ($40 & $25) to a new Fulfillment company (myrebateonline dawt kohm.. damn Ben's filters), 3 months later, nothing. Their Status widget on their website does not even work. Sent an email last Saturday, let's see if I get a reply.

Anyone had this experience and was able to contact someone human in Kaspersky? If so, would be great if you can provide an email or better still, a Phone #.

Otherwise, it is a GREAT software. If they change Rebate companies, I will gladly buy 2010.

Double rebates usually end up with one or both companies welshing on the deal..

It's bankrupt city out there, Buyer beware...

If you feel compelled to buy any antivirus, buy NOD32...

Course you could get a free 6 month license for Avira Antivirus Premium:

    I agree with #6...
If you're gonna pay for antivirus go with ESET NOD32. definately wont slow your pc down like Kaspersky does.

Look for a freeware antivirus if you run windows and need one..

this probably expires in a year then your left to upgrade or buy something else.

Why regular consumers even buying AV anymore. There are a lot of free ones such as AVG or AVAST. I've also used Kas. before and it deleted my system files because a virus infected it. Due to that, I had to re-install everything from scratch.

With all the companies going bad as well; i wouldn't suggest working with rebates right now.
