is this made in Russia by the mafia?
I Personally would not go for this rebates, too risky.
AVG will do. Most internet provider have a free install anyway..
avira and malwarebytes both gratis,my preference
Kaspersky Internet Security is rock solid protection on a new set up. If you put this on a machine you have been using for 6-8 months or more you will hate this product. You will have to go through and configure all your apps and programs that want to connect to the internet.Have fun ..nothing is free !
I'm running Microsoft Security Essentials (Free download for Vista/7).
I have done this rebate before, same exact one, I got my money back, the product is worth it even without rebate,
I love Kaspersky and have used it for years.
It's not free shipping. You get to the 'place order' page and it tells you it's $14.32 MANDATORY USPS insurance or 'free' pick up at the store.
Ok, this is fooked up. If I choose the $3.76 shipping option, and change it to Budget/Free only on the very last page before I place the order, it doesn't charge me the insurance and I can get free shipping. Supposedly. Rots of ruck.
AVAST 4 Home (FREE) is what I use and never had an issue or virus!
http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download
I would never pay or deal with rebates for an antivirus program. But if I ever did, this would be the one I would go with.
Get around the configuration issues and this program is rock solid. Have used in conjunction with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and been virus-free for years. Tested with Windows XP / Vista / 7
For those with issues, there are tech support forums on Kaspersky's site that give analysis and solutions. Search around.
Rebates always arrive.
I have used this thing for years. I do not say my machines have had no virus. I don't know. But I have had no problem.
That would be the best security suite ever. No one wants to mess with them.
I bought these, but I still use AVG instead
